Defining My Service and Credentials: Describe your child care to attract employees and customers. Learn how to discuss your credentials to attract customers.

My Child Care is Unique: Learn about what makes your child care Unique and how you can use this to recruit employees and attract customers.

Analyzing the Child Care Market: Find out what is new in the industry and how you can use it to your benefit. Explore where the child care industry is headed and learn how to position your child care to be profitable.

Promoting my Child Care Business: Promote your business using social media, and other mediums.


About The Instructor:

Judy Bumpus, Director of Client Services Manager, Kansas City Women’s Business Center

Judy Bumpus currently serves as Director of Client Services Manager for the Women’s Business Center in Overland Park, Kansas. The WBC helps develop, mentor and fund women-led businesses. In her role, Judy provides counseling services for women entrepreneurs and plans and facilitates training classes to assist starting and growing businesses.

Judy previously owned a consulting company that specialized in business and workforce skills development. Prior to her time operating her own business, she served as the Program Manager with First Step Fund a local microenterprise program. Her responsibilities with First Step Fund included coordination and effective execution of all programs offered, supervision of staff and volunteers, managing training events, including the delivery of content of training, management of micro-loan program, grant program, and development and delivery of peer training in the field of microenterprise development.
